VILLA EARTH
ARCHITECTURE : Vrantsi Programming // Schematic Design // Design Development
Villa Earth is a distinctive architectural project where a private harbor merges seamlessly with the pool, creating a unique aquatic living experience. Its futuristic, yacht-inspired design blurs the boundaries between luxury and nature, offering direct access to the sea from a private sanctuary.
Set on a cliff overlooking the Mediterranean coast of Greece, the villa integrates harmoniously with its surroundings. Green roofs and sustainable design strategies enhance energy efficiency, regulate temperature, and reduce environmental impact, while reinforcing its organic aesthetic.
The structure features fluid lines and minimalist forms, spread across two levels totaling 730 sqm. Private spaces occupy the upper level, while shared living areas are located below, all designed to maximize views and connection to the landscape.
Villa Earth transforms depending on perspective, appearing as a sleek yacht from certain angles, or blending seamlessly into the terrain from others. This dynamic interaction between land, sea, and structure creates a constantly evolving visual experience.
Sustainability is central to the project, with low-carbon materials such as ground granulated blast-furnace slag in the concrete mix, advanced insulation systems, and integrated air quality solutions. Together with green roofs, these elements support energy efficiency, biodiversity, and a healthier living environment.
