This triplex residence in Gerolimenas, Mani, is a contemporary interpretation of traditional stone architecture, where materiality and atmosphere define the design. The project preserves the authenticity of the stone shell while introducing a refined interior language that balances warmth, simplicity, and comfort.
A muted palette of earthy tones—soft beiges, warm greys, and deep browns—creates a calm and cohesive environment. Natural materials dominate the space: textured stone walls, timber ceilings, linen fabrics, and handcrafted finishes. These elements are layered to enhance depth and tactility, allowing light to gently reveal their richness throughout the day.
Furniture is minimal yet inviting, with rounded forms and low profiles that emphasize relaxation. Carefully selected lighting—both ambient and focused—adds softness and intimacy, complementing the natural light that filters through openings and connects the interior with the surrounding landscape.
The overall experience is one of quiet luxury. The space feels grounded, serene, and protective, offering residents a sense of retreat while remaining deeply connected to the rugged beauty of Mani.
