Villa Phoenix is a residential study, nestled in the charming area Ampelas in Paros. The project explores the relationship between architecture and landscape, drawing from the raw qualities of the Cycladic environment. The design of the interior and outdoor spaces is conceived as a unified gesture, aiming to establish a continuous dialogue between inside and outside.
Material selection—local stone, untreated wood, woven textures, and natural fabrics—defines a calm and grounded environment, where materiality and light become primary compositional elements. Neutral tones and soft textures reinforce a sense of simplicity and timelessness.
The outdoor areas are organized in direct response to the natural terrain and the open views towards the Aegean. Shaded zones, seating areas, and dining spaces are arranged beneath lightweight structures, creating a dynamic interplay of light and shadow while supporting a lifestyle adapted to the Mediterranean climate. The overall composition seeks a balance between restraint and contemporary comfort, with a clear reference to the local architectural identity.
